Our Lady of Walsingham
We are an informal group of parishioners, as well as non Catholics, who meet at 7.30pm on the fourth Monday of each month in the Coffee Shop.
Our aim is to increase love for, and knowledge about, England’s National Marian shrine at Walsingham in Norfolk. We gather together and say the Evening Prayer of Our Lady, the Rosary and to pray for our parish, most especially for any who are sick and for other special intentions.
Our meetings have a strong social element, which we consider essential in encouraging fellowship.
We also go on pilgrimage to Walsingham, usually every other year and attend Rosary rallies and a variety of other religious events on an ad hoc basis. Each year we support a chosen charity fundraising in a variety of ways.
There is no membership fee or constitution as our aim is to welcome anyone who wishes to join us as and when they can and wish to do so.
